Alex Robert Heinrich is a composer from Brazil. Born in Campinas, São Paulo, Alex found his musical vocation in church as a teenager and later on majored in Popular Music & Jazz Studies at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He went on to work as a bass player, arranger and producer, touring and recording with many artists, including Brazilian superstar Sandy, as well as former Amy Winehouse backing vocalist, the London based artist Zalon. While on tour Alex completed an online film scoring program from the renowned Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) which propelled him to completely re-focus his career, ultimately moving with his wife and daughter to Los Angeles in 2015 to attend the prestigious graduate program Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television at USC. Following the program he immediately started working with composer Tony Morales writing additional music for many TV shows and films including Disney's Emmy nominated "Elena of Avalor", Discovery Channel's "Alaska The Last Frontier", ESPN's "30 For 30 - The Dominican Dream" and Theo Davis' film based on the real story behind the "Make A Wish" foundation, "Wish Man". He also got to collaborate with composer Tina Wang writing additional music for Chinese TV series, "Moonshine and Valentine" ranked top 10 of 2018 with over 3 billion views, as well as co-arranging and producing tracks for the album "Diligent Life" by Taiwanese singer-songwriter Anu Kaliting Sadipongan, which received two Golden Melody Award nominations for Album of The Year & Best Aboriginal Album. Alex lives in Culver City, CA with his wife Krista and three children, Sophia, Raphael and Gabriela.
